Advanced Oxidation
-
•Of the stable elements, ozone is second to fluorine as an oxidizer. However, it is the best oxidizer in terms of safety.
-
•Ozone works in destroying microorganisms through its highly reactive molecules, working similarly to chlorine in the water sterilization process. Ozone releases one of its 3 oxygen molecules to oxidize the cellular capsule of microorganisms, causing severe cellular damage and death. No microorganism can survive exposure to sufficient amounts of ozone, and, they cannot build a resistance to ozone.
-
•ARANA engineers have improved upon ozone’s oxidation potential in water and patented this improvement as the “3-in-1” system, which is patented and PCT international patent pending.
-
•The “3-in-1” system breaks the typical O3 ozone molecule into two molecules – one O2 and the other an O1 radical, known as a mono-atomic molecule - which doesn’t exist in nature, is highly unstable, highly reactive, and has high oxidation values.
-
•The “3-in-1” is often referred to as the “hammer” as it tends to “hammer” water to ensure thorough oxidation rates and treatment of contaminants in water, at up to 1,000 times the oxidation rate of ozone alone.
-
•ARANA’s synergistic combinations of advanced oxidation and ultrafiltration clearly offer the best options available in providing long-term, reliable, and safe drinking water. No similar largescale water treatment and delivery system exists.
